Why a new curriculum
National programmes stay. CBC stays CBC. CAPS stays CAPS. WAEC stays WAEC. DAHSC is the overlay a continental school can actually run online: small live cohorts, African knowledge as the core rather than the footnote, and homework that a working parent can sit with.
Year shape
- Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 — 12 teaching weeks each
- Two live studios a week per cohort (45–60 minutes)
- One homework pack a week, graded inside the teacher dashboard
- Minimum cohort size: 5 students. Soft cap: 25 for voice, 40 for lecture
- Languages of instruction: any the teacher can honestly hold
