Land survey professionals serving Africa from Juja, Kenya.

Survey team

Our story

Clear land rights start with accurate survey

Decolonise Africa Survey was established to provide rigorous, legally sound land surveying and associated land procedures across the continent. We work with governments, communities, developers, banks and private landowners.

Headquartered in Juja, Kiambu County, Kenya, we combine licensed surveyors, modern GNSS and drone technology, and deep familiarity with African land tenure systems — freehold, customary, leasehold and communal.

Our name reflects a commitment: to support African land administration with local expertise, transparent methods and data that belongs to the people and institutions who need it.

Values

How we practise

1

Accuracy first

Every coordinate, beacon and plan is checked against statutory standards and independent quality control.

2

Legal awareness

We work within national Survey Acts, Land Acts and registration procedures so plans can progress to title.

3

Continental reach

From Juja we mobilise teams and partners across East, West, Central and Southern Africa.

Location

Why Juja?

Juja sits on the Thika Superhighway axis between Nairobi and the industrial / agricultural belt of central Kenya. It gives us rapid access to:

  • Nairobi and the national Survey of Kenya / land registries
  • Central and Eastern Kenya project sites
  • JKIA and regional air links for mobilising teams continent-wide

Our office handles coordination, computation, plan drafting and client liaison; field teams operate where the land is.
